My story began on May 19, 2019 when my 17 year old beautiful, blue eyed daughter Grace lost her life in a tragic car accident.  Immediately after her death, a friend started the Grace Gonsoulin Memorial Scholarship at Catholic High School in New Iberia, LA.  Less than a year later COVID shut our world down and I unexpectedly lost my Dad on that same day.  Stuck in the house and out of work because of the quarantine, I decided to play around with some art.  My daughter Kathryn encouraged me to sell this artwork.  Since I enjoyed it so much, along with it being extremely therapeutic after the loss of my daughter and dad, I decided to give it a shot! Before I did, I spoke to my family about it and they agreed. We also decided that the majority of my proceeds would be donated to Grace’s scholarship! It is so important for us to keep her memory alive and her scholarship well funded, so that it will continue for many, many years! We have had some wonderful recipients over the last two years.  I know Grace would be proud!  Thank you for your interest in my work and for being a part of Grace’s beautiful memory 💙
